People on the move: international migration as a catalyst for achieving the SDGs

Middle East Centre for Training and Development, led by Migration Studies Researchers Ms. Dina Habib, and Mr. Francis Solomantine, took part in the 2-day Diamond Jubilee Celebration Conference organized by the Birla Institute Of Technology and Science, Bits Pilani Dubai, in collaboration with The International Institute of Migration and Development titled “People on the move: international migration as a catalyst for achieving the sustainable development goals” in Dubai, UAE. The conference was chaired by the honourable Dr. Irudayarajan Sebastian, Chair at International Institute of Migration and Development, and Dr. Mrutuyanjaya Sahu, Head of Department, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Middle East Centre’s research was presented among talented academics and research professionals in the enriching 2-day conference on migration. The conference was a chance for academics to unite on migration research on the Gulf region and beyond.
